It was a night game. She grabbed her sunglasses hoping to shield her eyes from the glare so she could do her job in left field. I'm pissed because she got hurt and the Coach ignored her request for help. We are not self entitled parents, nor is she a self entitled player. She goes where the Coach tells her to go. There is a huge difference in playing left field and right field. For one thing it is opposite field, for another there is way more action in left field. Those are just two things I can think of that are obvious.- oppoppo

I think they are both at fault. He’s the adult and he ignored her Actually there were a set of lights shining right in front of left field and a set behind her.
