    Unfortunately, injuries have ended my daughter's softball career so we're moving some of her equipment. This Rawlings HOH 12.5" utility glove is never used, bought last Christmas with plans to use it this season. It's been malleted maybe twice but has not seen a single ball. $200 shipped.

    Tryouts for anyone this time of year? Coming up January?

    In our parts, I'm seeing the number of teams shrink just slightly this year due to oversaturation. A couple programs shut down and some teams just can't find the number of players they need.

    I know, I had the words backwards. I'm no ump and that's no easy call. Again, my point was more about calling for an ejection.

    My point was more about the ejection talk but I'd lean towards batter interfering 1B since she should be looking where she's supposed to be running instead of the ground. If the runner had moved I think it's safe to say the ball could have been caught.

    Neither the hitter nor 1B saw each other. Hitter is running with her head down and 1B is looking up at the ball. What is the issue here exactly? There's nothing malicious, accidents happen.

    High School Program Information

    1300 or so kids in our HS - Varsity and JV and both are stacked with travel players and there were a few cuts as far as I know. Our school is very fortunate to have a great program.

    Value of staying on JV

    Going through this conversation right now. My freshman would love the idea of making varsity but understands she'd likely be an end of bench player this year since the team is loaded. She'd rather play this year than sit.

    WTB - 32" -10

    After pressuring me to let her jump to a 33" we're thinking my daughter is better off with a 32", she is very in-between sizes. I'm looking for an affordable 32" -10 for her to try the rest of the season before deciding for sure. She's done well with balanced bats but does like her Ghost a lot...
