    Completely agree that a pick out of the dirt is expected to be caught. 👍🏼👍🏼

    I agree. We typically score errors as; glove touches and didn't finish the play on a routine play, anything in the 5 hole, throws in the dirt, throws that sail high/left/right and are uncatchable, dropped flyballs on a routine play, etc. Dives, laying out, etc are not error worthy.

    Anderson bat

    A kid on my 12u team got one about 1 month ago. Pretty strong kid. Good bat velo. She's taken normal swings on it and the upper is starting to separate from the lower. Great looking bat, but it doesn't seem to have great stability.

    We just played an NSA in NC. I intentionally walked the bases loaded because the timer was getting short. We were not required to pitch the BBs. I said "put the next two on". Ump told them to take their bases and we rolled.

    Back in her day I'd bet they didn't have bats that could hit a homerun on a check swing either. College coaches used to not look at girls who wore masks. However, my niece just graduated from a large D1 and about 1/3 of the girls wore them. The game has changed.
