The glove is to be maroon the color is between a red and dark maroon. I placed it between the Red Pro 44 and a Custom Maroon Nokona. Brick Red is as close as I could call it. Leathers vary so making things standardized using color chips like in FED-STD-595, 595A, and 595B is almost...

Is it functionally less effective than other designs? Never owned one until now or used one in practice. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

No love for the + sign. Lol I pick it because I never see a glove with one. I think it's a better in person kind of thing. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

I'm not against the steaming process but most people just don't understand the process and fail to do it properly. You don't set it and forget it over a weekend or 100% soak the leather to complete saturation. Looks like this leather reached 100% saturation and was pulled just to air dry...

I was hoping the Rico Ultra Custom Series would be a cut above the normal production stuff. Wrong! Probably will donate it after I try and fix it up. If I found that glove "as is" at the Salvation Army or the DAV I wouldn't give $20.00 for it. The Pro 44 is going to a kid. That glove is usable...

The best cheap gloves out there?

I think the Louisville Slugger brand, "Omaha Pro Series" line is a good value IMO for a kid trying to decide if they like Softball. Cheapbaxs.com has some good pricing. I think she used this for almost 2 years. Range is $20.00 to $60.00 Picture of 11.75" with 12" ball. Sent from my...

It's a trainwreck for sure. Since I did a review on it that's not favorable I doubt they would do anything now. I doubt they are essential enough to be open. I feel I'm stuck with it. If I can keep one person from getting the steaming option at least they will have a glove that will allow a...

Vote away! :) The Bradley is pretty nice piece. Almost to nice. The Zett is a baseball glove 12 3/4. My DD grabbed it and will be using it to roam CF eventually. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Custom Rico Ultra series, "H Web" U.S. premium steerhide Opted for the extra steaming...Nooooooo! I'd like to just stick to a couple of bullet points here but I can't. Have to be honest as I can but this was ridiculously bad glove. Heavy glove. 732 grams / 1.614 pounds Build quality: Not a...
