Wow, those fields look fantastic! We are in Plano, BB fields look like that. We are still the old cinder block and metal fences. Plus parents pitched in paint job.
My daughter was able to demo the new Warstic fastpitch bat last night. She enjoyed the swing and it seemed to have good pop, she did complain that it would sting her hands. However, I am not familiar with Warstic bats and I cannot imagine trying to break in against Easton, Demarini and LS. I...
GCI came out with a new chair last year, Pod Rocker. We enjoy ours and they have a carry bag. Plus not a pain to put in or on top of the wagon like the standard rocker. I am able to slouch down, just need a foot rest or ottoman.

We have a very similar fund raising goal each year, $600 per player. This does not include UIL dues and all of the other stuff. We sell ad space for our program, which is free to both home and visitors. We use the funds to upgrade equipment and pay for food/travel for the girls and other...
Well perfect timing to jump in as our daughter received her first custom glove from Vinci today. Can’t say much for USPS and all of the delays. But as usual a great Vinci product. Almost hate to show it since we ordered hers with a Velcro strap. She has an AB74-L that needs to be re-laced she...
As an old dude I have to get with the times. LOL, just never know what to expect. One day I think of the movie Mr. Brooks when his daughter is standing over him with a shiny new pair of scissors and the next she is a sweet little angel. But most of the time gotta go with Mr. Brooks and wish I...
I do not think I would have to much of an issue with it at the moment. I will say, I am going to sound like a prude, but more so dealing with a crazy outfielder that I raised. Being a product of the 80’s and still recovering from that 35 years later. My kiddo is a bit defiant and a crazy...
Recruitment is a goal. She has been approached from a couple of coaches at smaller schools, just conversations. I have thought about bumping up to 18u as well to go ahead and let her get used to stronger pitchers and the speed of the game.
DD was on a 16u A team that disbanded. We have been going to tryouts and she was invited to play on a 16u gold team within the same organization. The issue I am having, she is one of two 04’s on the team. The majority of the young’s ladies seem to be 05-06 which would leave us moving on next...
Yes, I heard that Denton shut down the tournament this weekend. My DD played in the 16/18u grouping at Heritage Yards in Plano. I somewhat stayed clear of people, social distancing and with the wind this weekend, I felt safe. However, large groups were still congregating in the pavilion. Had DD...
My daughter and I listen to all kinds of music. Her current walk up song is Rhinestone Cowboy by Glen Campbell. Umps in Texas love it, I think it helps her get a few calls.
