    Thanks JAD. So at the time a girl verbals, if it is before her senior year, financial terms are usually discussed but not binding. I assume there are countless stories about girls who were promised full rides when they verballed as 9th graders and then at signing time were offered something less?

    I wonder what the time difference is in softball for a liner up the middle - anyone know if it is faster or slower with a 60 MPH pitch from 43 feet vs. a 90 MPH pitch from 60?

    Am I correct that this and the other ASA national tournaments are double elimination with no pool games? Seems like a lot of teams traveled across the country to play two games and go home.
