Should goal be college?
The college hype is a bit too much at 9/10, these girls haven’t even started to develop...but with that said, you continue to push the idea that attitude and effort is everything as you ALWAYS PUSH to be the BEST YOU CAN BE....what a kid does at 9/10 skill wise has zero to do wit what happens at...- Jfiebs

Why is it that boys aren’t allowed to play girls Fastpitch but ok for girls to play baseball? There’s a distinct size, strength, speed, and reaction time difference between the make up of boys and girls.....there’s nothing sexist about what you’re arguing. Mississippi will be the first state to require the four most dangerous positions (including catcher) to wear face masks in High School.
It’s not sexist by any means, boys are able to wear them too and unless it’s mandatory through your club/association it’s not required for girls to wear them, it is purely a recommendation in most places.... you go watch men’s slow pitch and the majority of pitchers wear them if they are play...- Jfiebs

People view this many different ways. It’s not about girls being fragile, or less skilled than boys. These girls are playing Add a much closer distance and your physics shows that the speed of pitches, speed/velocity off bats etc. are more than baseball....the shorter distance reduces reaction...- Jfiebs

As a parent, I totally get where you’re coming from, but as a coach I’m not really concerned how people perceive it. It’s about communicating with the players, and helping them succeed, holding up numbers could be missed- Jfiebs
