Most pitchers are going to have a natural motion that lends itself to one pitch or another, so that pitch may get a little extra "whip" during follow through.
Sounds like a good project for a couple of dads and a cooler of adult beverages...if they have access to a compressor and paint sprayer they should be able to get them to an acceptable standard of a single color. Cans of spray paint may work in a pinch. Secret is several light coats vs. one...
Early last season my DD tore her right hip labrum. She got through the season with a Cortizone shot and a lot of PT, but this year the pain was not getting better, so the decision was made in December for my DD to have surgery. Surgery went just as expected, and DD will be on crutches for 4-6...
We liked to shut down any softball (pitching and hitting) activities between Thanksgiving and New Years, but DD would continue to do core strengthening and conditioning over the Holidays, although not as frequently.
In my experience, buying expensive sunglasses for softball was not a good idea. The $10-15 ones at Walmart work just as well and you are less likely to have a coronary when they are lying on the ground in the dugout lenses down...
