    So, I honestly couldn’t tell any significant weight difference between my daughter’s current CMW3000 and the Liberty Advanced we’re trying to break in...even though SHE said the Liberty is heavier. I am not catching like she is, though, so what do I know??? 🤣

    I know :( I did as well. No luck. She turned 15 end of June and plays 18U. She said the Liberty is heavier than her CMW3000, so I was curious about the Vinci. The weight of the Liberty isn't a deal-breaker, I was just curious how the Vinci might compare :)

    Thanks...Gags. We actually have a Liberty Advanced (not yet broken in) but my daughter was hoping for something a bit lighter. 😉

    That's why I am asking now because if I am going to get her a new mitt I'd like to have it well on its way by spring tournament season. I will fully admit, though, that we ARE NOT good at breaking in mitts. We SUCK at it (which is why the CMW3000 sat around for 12-18 months while she continued...

    You had just recommended a HOH custom...I let my daughter do the customization. She went with black leather and red everything else. She loves it.

    My daughter’s head coach is a female with small hands. The other coaches didn’t use it, just looked at it. I will definitely take a look at pounding it out more and potentially loosening the laces!!

    Hi All! I think my daughter (15yo/18U tournament) may need a new catcher's mitt. She currently has a Vela All-Star CMW3000 33.5 which isn't that old and is still in good condition, HOWEVER, balls tend to pop out of it. I truly THOUGHT it was my daughter just dropping balls (as did her coach)...
