LDS and travel ball
My daughters team played every weekend possible up north. We made church work for everyone whether it was Saturday night or Sunday. Like MOMO'sDad said its up to the families - not the church. High Gate Fees
Totally agree with everyone from Fla. Virtually no gate fees except "special" events. The interesting thing is youth baseball in Central Florida charges $5 a head at all their events. I am old enough to remember the revolt when MLB players had to start wearing ear flaps on their batting helmets. You would have thought the world was ending. I bet the 100 or so hitters that have been plunked in the ear since are pretty happy about the change.- flarays

Dude - do you even read what is posted before responding. ESPN did one of those "scientific studies" to determine the relationship between what the reaction time of a softball hitter and a baseball hitter was when the pitch speeds are relative. It was very interesting and well produced...- flarays

LOL - what is absurd about two questions aimed at reaction times? Seems to me that ESPN did an entire show about the reaction time between baseball and softball hitters? Why can't I/We ask about reaction time to field a batted ball?- flarays

OK - let me try this another way. ASA has determined bat manufacturers can not produce bats that have an exit speed (the speed in which a batted ball leaves the bat) of more than 95 mph. Huh? Exit speed is the speed the ball comes off the bat. A good youth softball player has 60+ mph bat head speed!!- flarays
