So what the hell do you do when a slapper swings and missed a pitch in the dirt for strike two, but based on the fact that she's on a sprint toward first-cuz she's a slapper- the catcher who is cluless throws to first, meanwhile the runner on second steals third?
If you're calling this a dead...
What about a defensive coach? I was coaching a game where my runner was rounding 3rd during a first & 3rd situation. The batter was rounding first. The defensive coach yelled, "Time, " although not yet granted by the umpire and crossed the foul line into fair territory. I sent my runner as...
It should be interference. According to the rule quotes earlier it doesn't seem like it. So the first base coach should tackle the first base person on any infield grounder prior to the throw. I'm being ridiculous here, but is there more to this rule or interpretation of it?

My rule is if you see a coach hitting infield one handed bet on the...
Teach your hitters plate discipline. If you do that there's no need for a take sign. If the pitcher throws it fat crush it. If it's in the wheelhouse hammer it. If it's borderline use discretion. If it's a ball don't swing.
I want my hitters in the box with a hitters mentality and not...
