Here is an update...She started with a new hitting coach a couple of weeks ago and has been working hard on her swing during this short offseason.

I see it...thanks for putting that together. What do you do to have her fix it?...do you just have to show her and then have her actively focus on that piece of it during tee work (very slow swings at first I would assume) until she can do it naturally enough to move to front toss or the machine?
She actually seems to be under everything. I don't have any recent live pitching videos (I will take some) but I think she dips more against live pitching...or maybe because she is out in front she is dipping her back shoulder to hold herself back. She is also swinging and missing more than she...
Yes...she is 14U. I will look at those ULL hitters. And she does launch front toss but against live pitching her timing usually seems to be off (mostly out in front).
DD used to be successful hitter despite her swing being a work in progress but this year she has really struggled (below .275 against decent pitching) and is starting to get down on herself.
Here are 3 clips...Low Tee, High Tee, and Pitching Machine. Is there anything she can do in the near...
Runner on first less than 2 outs.
One hopper to the first baseman and the runner on first goes back to the first base bag bag. 1B steps on the bag and then tags the runner (who is standing on first) and the umpire rules it a double play.
Was it the right call?
Also, another one from this past...

I always wondered why they didn't just make the age date September 1st since it would synch well with School levels (since most schools have a Sept 1 cutoff date now) and the change of the softball seasons.
My DD had a MV-3 that broke at the handle after 8 months. Miken sent an Intensit-E as a replacement that just sits in her bag. She also has a freak that she thought was OK if you found the sweet spot but her main bat is a 2011 Xeno which she loves.
I was just about to pull the trigger on a CF5...
