    No matter what sport you play, there are risks of injuries in every sport and softball is no exception. As soon as you step on the playing field, every element present around you poses a significant threat of injuries. This is the reason softball injuries are rising and occur nearly as frequent as baseball injuries. Years ago, it was considered that baseball entails an entirely different mechanics as when compared to pitching a softball and so it is more dangerous than a softball. However, with pitchers throwing as many as thousands of pitches in a tournament, injuries to the shoulder and elbow in softball have surfaced considerably.
