swinging a bucket = shoulder injuries?

yeah, we're pretty happy with him so far. the various drills he assigns her to perform during the week have definately been having an impact. she is transitioning to the leap and drag style and lost accuracy and velocity at first. but everything is beginning to smooth out for her and doing her drills has rather quickly brought her control back and her speed is picking back up as well. the other girls on the team actually noticed the speed difference this week from last. as she gets more comfortable with what she's doing, she's letting it fly and no longer seems to be holding herself back.

it's also easier on me since HE is the one who says she has to pitch 3 nights a week.

Yes, the "smile and nod." No, female should be w/o it.

I have never heard of the bucket drill, but if Hal says not to do it, I would listen to him.

I don't think that your hand would be close enough to the hip, even with an oval bucket.

Yes, a ball, short rope, or hand towel would be acceptable.
