Gloves are in! I discovered some long lost credit I had with JBG so Iā€™m sticking with what they have available.

Mizuno Pro Series 11.75ā€ GPS1BK-600S $200

Wilson A2000 1786 11.5ā€ WBW10039011 $220

Took a couple short hops against a wall with both. I love the tighter feel and pocket shape of the Wilson the best, but I have better control with the ball going into the pocket of the Mizuno. It kept popping out of the Wilson, like the leather was slicker? Obviously theyā€™re not broken in yet, so you think I can get used to the Wilson? Or should I go with what I already can control? (Iā€™m also scared of the mizuno getting floppy faster than the Wilson)

Also ordered a HOH 204 for the heck of it (not pictured), and the pocketā€™s great but the finger stalls/wrist are massive šŸ˜‚

sorry if this is too many questions! I haven't done this since middle school, so I'm relearning everything about buying a glove

Both are very nice looking gloves, you did good!

My points / views / opinions.....

**11.5", that's just crazy crazy talk, pattar will be along shortly to tell you to go with the A2000!
**The saddle tan in the palm, web, and trim of that A2000 is gorgeous, that's what tan should look like!
**Hate they both have rolled welting, that right there is the manufacturers way of cutting cost, period!
**What happened to the 11.75" 1787 A2000 idea?

**I definitely prefer the Mizuno more, it's very obvious by the shape of that palm shot it's been sitting in a funky position for awhile, definitely looks brand new and not broken in, that's an easy enough fix.
**Looks to be a pretty big 11.75" glove!
**How's the hand stall size?
**I'm honestly not the biggest fan of Mizuno's triple X lacing at the base of the web, I prefer double X's but I could easily get over that!
**If that Mizuno had tan binding and split welting....I'd order one today!

**So tell me why you think the Zuno will get floppy faster than the Wilson? Is it already that noticeable?? Larger gloves do flex and bend easier than smaller gloves from the start, but there's not that much difference in the size.

********Let's see a pic of the Pro204!
**Have you tried the 204 on your hand TIP, that might change everything!
**I'm still on board with an 11.75" glove regardless of brand, but it's all about you missy, you do what works for you! We had a coach @ Carolina Elite that played 3B for Georgia, she used an 11.25" glove at 3B, the entire glove was just a pocket, no excess anywhere!

@CoreSoftball20.....too much?? ;) I could probably come up with more if you like?

Yā€™know what. Iā€™ve been thinking about this for too long, I need to start making decisions. šŸ˜‚ Mizuno is out for good, it just doesnā€™t have the same feel as the Wilson. Hereā€™s the 204. Itā€™s absolutely gorgeous, but is the split welting worth the $80 more? (Even with the fingers moved over, the pinky and thumb stalls are the only things keeping the glove on my hand. Feels like one line drive could send it flying lol)
