So just how toast? Is it worth sending to someone like Jeffrey Rous and having restored? Is the liner, fingerstalls, and binding shot? It those are toast than it's not worth restoring!

I'm been thinking lately about buying me a "pocket dump" leather tray for keys, coins, and my EDC Spyderco knives. They're quiet, cool looking, and develop a nice patina over time. Just not sure how much leather someone can get out of this glove? Maybe enough for a small tray that she can put her rings and earrings in ?

examples.....

it was a mid grad vinci......bought from Drakemire back in the day, i think a brown PC version of the BV1929......it's pretty floppy, a bunch of the holes for the lacing on the back have started to rip a little, i think it went through 4 years of basically year round use; while she was good at keeping a ball in it and wrapped when not in use, my glove care skills are much better these days......her newer stuff gets cleaned a few times a year, i use the proper treatments these days....this one is a little dry, it's good to make something with....lol

I like it, curious to see what he/she can do?

he's a magician, so I am, too

he did an emergency glove repair for us a few seasons back....DD1 broke a lace on a Friday game, brought glove down Fri at closing time, he had it back in my hands at noon Saturday before practice.....watched him shorten the back strap on some ladies $300 shoes and they looked factory new......he repairs tents and camp chairs and all sorts of highbrow stuff......the guy is old school, AND he's a baseball guy from way back, so hopefully he likes this idea lol
