Saw someone doing something wrong on this forum and I called them out on it. Yikes if you ignore that.
Would wager that everybody that is posted in both of these threads understands game changer is unreliable. Would also wager that most people that use game changer know it's not always the person's name who is on Game Changer who is reporting through it.
And none of that needs to be discussed using the person coaches name. That is if the topic was really about accuracy of game changer which @LEsoftball dad knows it was not.

You seem to be the only one who thinks someone on this forum was the one doing something wrong. And when you're the only one who thinks something, it often means you're wrong.

Unreliable in what sense? Yeah most don't know how to score a game but I doubt showing a negative run in a box score is the result of an ignorant parent..

Bobby:"Hey Julie how many runs did the other team score last inning, I was checking FB and didn't pay attention"
Julie: " I think they scored -3 runs"

In terms of the person listed not scoring the game, I agree that happens. However the coach not ever checking GC afterwards seems a bit far-fetched, no?

You can argue you don't like the public calling out but the argument that nothing wrong occurred is sort of weak..

The issue at hand: It was not a one time incident, which is understandable. Rather a series of on-going run shaving resulting in an unbelievable winning record vs the realistic losing record. The Original Poster did not put the name of the team out there until the DFP cyber sleuths figured it out on their own. We are kinda smart like that.

Someone thought they figured out to hack GC and level up, but got checked. I am pretty sure the OP was not the only person to notice.

Never said nothing occurred. Said game changer for the most part is unreliable. As is gossip.

Bull. You clearly said it was lies.

At first it was all lies. When that accusation was proven to be false, you turned to the subject of the perpetrator being unknown............... "Could of been anyone". When that was proven false, you start on the lack of reliability of Gamechanger. Now you seem really hung up on the intent of the poster in the original thread whereas everyone else is happy that a coach was exposed for being a fraud. Fascinating movement of the goalposts.

There is a lot in GC that is up to interpretation of the person inputting into GC (hits, errors, etc). The score is not one of those items. That is an integrity thing. To see scores change hours after the game is over is and ethical/integrity question, not a knowledge question.

Whether or not an online forum should take responsibility for policing said infractions is debatable, but the integrity of the people involved in not running that account is not.

Can you point me to the posts that were gossip? Also there's a difference between someone doing a bad job of scorekeeping in game changer and someone blatantly changing the results. Are you saying the changes were by accident?

Is that you, Amber?
