I think the front leg landing bent is the result of weight shifting some to the front side. The bend is there to absorb some of that weight. Core/hip rotation should then cause the front leg to lock
Believe me, my DD can easily shift her weight to the front side with a stiff front leg... so can a lot of hitters. This usually results in them getting over the front foot with 0 adjustability

When does the front leg straighten? Initial knee lift? Top of knee lift? Decent of front foot? Does she land on toe with heel up? Just seems to me that if it stiffens prior to landing weight is back. I certainly get the adjustability part with a stiff front leg

@julray and @Cornbread, @TDS has a gif of the flow of energy. I will say the back and front halves should be working as antagonists. That’s how the lead leg straightens while maintaining posture. Many use the lead leg as something to rotate or hit against. I think that’s incorrect.

WW, are you referring to this Bonds clip ? Of course I have others so don't want to assume ;)

Why not use both arms and both legs? Antagonists!

I think you do. Just in sequence. The upper body will follow the lower half or middle. The shoulders are antagonistic which makes the arms the same. In and out and up and down. Part of UFAs. I think that part is almost automatic if one can stretch the middle on time.

As far as the legs go I think they just support. Let the middle do its thing. GRF is overrated. Just used for stability imo.
