It isn't like people don't have ample opportunity to see the inside of composite bats..Exactly. I expect some rich, silly person to buy one to just cut it in half to see what's inside.

After a full fall season of 21 games with tournaments included here are my findings. Our original Meta actually sounded very strange. Especially after 4 other girls switched from Ghosts to Meta’s. I sent it back and they sent me a new one. The bats performance did not change but there was clearly an issues with the internal barrel.
New bat took some time to break in again but my DD’s average went from in the 300’s and batting 7th to 500 and batting 4th. The top 2 hitters currently use meta’s and 5 of the top 6 on the team are also Meta’s. I understand that every situation is different and the girls using the metas mostly also put more time into the sport. Hitting lessons, practice etc.
but I do find it interesting that there seems to be a shift in the mind set. While I completely agree the Ghost is a very powerful bat I myself have a hard time supporting a company that knows it sells a ticking time bomb. Especially when the Meta (for patient people) is a more than viable option with great results to back it up. As far as that Anderson Rockettech bat goes a girl on my DD’s 14u team had it and absolutely hated it. Not only did it sound aweful but it’s performance was sub par at best. The GameChanger app is pretty insightful also. DD has reached on more errors from hitting the ball harder and while she is not a power hitter lead the team with 3 triples and 6 doubles. 2 balls off the fence. She’s about 5 foot 6 and 115lbs.
And to be as forthcoming as possible we’ve tried just about every bat we could get our hands on. Demarini, mizzuno, Easton, Rawlings, Louisville and just about every version of all those brands. So far the Meta has held up the best and preforms the best and most importantly feels the best to her. Enjoy the off season!
Think I missing something....was it her first Meta or second one that has held up well? After a full fall season of 21 games with tournaments included here are my findings. At this point I would rather have it replaced by an LXT.
