A issue that keeps creeping up with my DD is the Early-to be-late. She will start, then pause, and wait for the ball, and start again. By that time its too late. The swing should be a continuous flow from beginning to end. She doesn't have this issue on tee or front toss only live. I asked her yesterday what is going through her head and she confirmed whats stated in the article. She said she starts, but then feels like she is too early, she said then I pause and wait to see the ball.

Ken's article is spot on of what she is dealing with.

Pick the front foot up on time (just before pitch release). That will fix her timing. Then address the mechanics of what happens when she picks the front foot up (coil, stride, move forward etc). Gonna feel weird at first but she will get used to it. Front foot up on time with a controlled forward move is your goal. Good luck

Thanks will read and hopefully we can make some improvements but appreciate all of y’all’s help/info and critique.

Start the move on ball release. If it's too late, start sooner. If too early, do a 1 count (or a 2 count in 5-10 yo). Easy to fix.

Looks like a 3rd person.

Here she stays over her back foot during the stride, then 'reaches' with the front leg. You should stride with the back leg, and the head should end up in between the feet. (The front knee should be bent here, not straight)

Happen to have an example of what a swing should look like or something maybe she could see to mimic
