What type of shoes do you like to wear for practice and games? I've been wearing some trail running shoes, but they are worn out. Time for something new.

Running shoes or sneakers in team colors. I used to wear turf shoes and coaching shoes, but you can’t beat the comfort or a good running shoe. Nike Pegasus offers about every team color possible too.

Agreed - you can’t beat the comfort of a good fitting running shoe.

I personally wear a pair of UA turf shoes. But I have custom insoles in them and also practice pitching in them. So they pull double duty.

How are turf shoes for traction on dirt infields? The trail running shoes I have do ok, but I do slip around some.

I wear cleats for practice on a field if I'm planning on doing anything physical (pitching, etc.). I just wear an old pair of gym shoes for games.

Still wearing Boombah Rage turf shoes, super comfortable, they wouldn't make a good game shoe as I don't think they're that durable, but for coaching they're perfect!

I have been wearing New Balance sneakers for years... I have a field pair, and a pair that doesn't go on the field (my exercising/going out sneakers). When the field ones become too awful, the other pair graduates to the field and I open the next box for non-field.

Yes, I have 4-6 boxes of unopened New Balance sneakers in a cupboard. When it gets down to 2, I order more of the same from Amazon - they are normally in the $40-$45 range. It doesn't help that my son wears the same size as me and occasionally grabs a pair for himself as well.
