I got a chance to see the Marucci Magnolia side by side with a A2000 at my daughter catchers workout last night.....Yep this glove holds well in "looks" both gloves look thick, padded, and high quality.

When warm-up started the ball was bouncing off my DD Magnolia and high balls were tipping off the glove but that is expected for the 1st time she used the glove.

The Magnolia made a nice pop when the ball is fired in. At the beginning of the workout my DD was asking for her old glove back. By the end of the work out she said it was ok if I gave her old glove away.

I asked my DD about her hands stinging....since that is something she complains about when the hard pitches come in......She said nope there wasn't any stinging.....that is what she liked about the glove her hand did not hurt

I do know dicks just sold three more of these catchers gloves to my daughter workout friends.....their parents like the glove and when I told them the price they fell in love with it.....

Was thinking of upgrading DD's mizuno prime first base glove to a marucci magnolia. Thoughts from those here who got the 1b glove? How's pocket?

Heres some pics compared to a rawlings DCT. I think it'll be a nice glove. It wont be as wide as the rawlings and the handstall is very nicely sized for a girl(vs. a man in the rawlings). My DD wont use it for a while(she is young and it's stiff) but I think for the money it will be worth it vs. Her fielding glove at first. I think itll be pretty good once broken in.

That is for the pics and compare. Decided to pull the trigger and get it. I know she may not use for a bit so it'll give her some time to break it in.

The magnolia in a 13 inches, rawlings bh34 13 inches, super z in a 13.5 inches. The mag hand stall is small and fit very well with tip. But if your dd wear a batting glove underneath her fielding glove, you might need to adjust the wrist lacing.

Is there some kind of odd perspective going on with that photo? No way that Magnolia is that much larger than that Harper and Super Z! Looks like a fruit basket!
