Watching the radar and hoping the rain moves out so we can get our game in tomorrow morning. Oh, and first pitch should be about 35 degrees......

I can see how this develops stiff spines, but love of the game...not so much.
Definitely not something I would want to do every weekend, but whether it’s 30 or 80, our fall season is done Wednesday. So for 1 weekend, it’s a “team bonding” exercise.

Last weekend it was about 34 degrees at first pitch for 16U tournament. Every girl had long sleeves on under their jersey except the opposing pitcher. Parents are joking about offensive linemen at Lambeau, etc. Halfway through the inning she rolled her sleeves over her shoulders and kept pitching. That was one tough girl and a good pitcher to boot.

Played a couple really chilly games over the last three weekends in KC, Columbia and KC again! Not to mention a college visit where DD practiced with the team in 34 degrees & raining. Tough Canadian kid though so no problem ;)
