Appears Alliance is the offspring of Triple Crown and usssa....
Screenshot_2020-10-20-06-44-30-1.png

Triple Crown events here in calif. draw the same teams as pgf, including top tier teams in pgf premier nationals top div.

TCS already has a very strong following of college coaches D1 included in calif.

Also top org's here
( corona angels & mercado athletics)
host through utilizing TCS platform and have an elite bracket ( kinda invite/selected top teams) that really seperate the talent from the rest of the crowd...drawing coaches.

My 'guess' is these team's will stay here and compete without extra cost of traveling further.

Not really. They are using tournaments (many of which have already existed in the past) put on by TC, USSSA and USA to gather points in a point system for teams registered with the Alliance. These points will then be used in regional championships for the Alliance member leagues (CA, TX, Midwest, etc). Those regional championships will then be used to determine the teams which go to the Championship tournaments which are listed in the 1st post in this thread. The catch is that there is a cost associated with being "in" the Alliance and also to be in the regional leagues.

WHEN, OH WHEN? I do not see CA opening up to organized sports any time soon. Tourneys seem a million miles away. In fact we are actually moving in the wrong direction. Many cities recently hiring new park patrol personal that snoop around to make sure that we are only practicing and not playing games. Some cities have set water filled K rails or dump a giant pile of dirt in center of the infield. But rest assured, they put new nets on the basketball hoops so 25 plus grown men can run up and down the court breathing and sweating on each other. I have no problem with men playing basketball. I have a problem with government's lack of common sense in their policy making.

It will be interesting to see... The California Fastpitch League which is a member of the Alliance is composed of the following directors

Commissioner, Mike Stith, OC Batbusters
Deputy Commissioner, Tony Rico, Firecrackers
Championship & Communications Director, Sean Brashear, Firecrackers Brashear
Operations & Business Relations Director, Travis Cotsenmoyer, Triple Crown
Advisor & Regional Director, Dave Mercado, Athletics Mercado
Director of Analytics & Team Data, Brian Tidd, Athletics Mercado
The Corona Angels are also present in the league.

All of the other member leagues are composed of the who's who organizational wise too.

It will be interesting to see how many of their orgs teams they can have commit to the AFCS in OK. There will be a lot of teams licking their chops to go to PGF if the big dogs from each member leagues are committed to go to OKC. It will be interesting for sure

PGF is IMO, less than 50-50 for next year(2021). And if trump wins, it a total no-go.

Why aren't these guys out publicly promoting the opening up of CA for fastpitch softball? They like ($$$$$) traveling? They don't want to alienate or get involved with politics? Don't they realize many TB families cannot afford to go to AZ or TX every other weekend? More and more young ladies hanging up their cleats. And forget TB, cities rec ball programs are bleeding players and are dying a slow death.

To see how many of those teams stay here, and who may go there.
Really there are sooo many of those org teams they have teams separately to send to both.

The colleges attending will be a big factor.

If you say so. Doesn't really matter what you call it.

It seems like maybe it was more about The Alliance being opportunistic and taking advantage of events that are already established, than actually being an "offspring" of those two groups.

I know I'd personally be more interested in my DD being involved in something like this than ever setting foot in another USSSA "Nationals" event.
