Do you use any fun hitting drills to keep the kids entertained and developing?

Simply keeping count the swings that produce good results vs. bad results.

Start with 10 swings.
"Lets count, how many good hits can we produce?"
Let the player answer.
Now its a goal, with a challenge to improve results going forward.

its not game stats,
its workout stats. :) 👍
Grow from there!

if a kid isn’t having fun when hitting, probably pitching or something else is more up their alley. Hitting things is the best!

Not a fan. No one hits standing on a tire during a game. His path drills are one dimensional. Just not much adjustability in his drills. The constraints/goals seem one dimensional to what end? A kid that doesn’t get forward as well as a kid that can’t hit for max power. To each his own.

If you just want to have fun.. front toss with water balloons on a hot summer day.. Lots of fun :). Instant feedback .... cold water.

5 YO DS likes to play Him vs Mom and Dad games in the driveway where he is hitting wiffles..Probably likes it because he wins every time. We don't get to hit and my outfielder stinks...

If you stink in the outfield, why don't you pitch?
:p
The way we score runs is by our OF (my DW..) either catching a fly ball/line drive or ground ball without a bobble. We were winning a few times but then I think her motherly instincts kicked in and all of a sudden she turned into Manny Ramirez out there.
