Looks like she is having fun. Like the wave to camera. Not bad for her age and athletic. IMO

1. Ball facing catcher and staying up would help her keep some bend

2. IR is late. T
1. Palm behind the ball, could you explain staying up?
2. I'm assuming the IR is late because of the arm in the locked position?
3. Yes, she has a blast for sure. Her coach knows that he can count on her to come into a bad situation and succeed. 16 IP w/ 29 LOB.

I'm not sure what my input is worth, but here it is:

My guess is the elbow straightens when adding the legs because she starts trying to throw hard. When you are just working on upper body, she doesn't feel the need to throw hard so she is loose. Once she goes full pitch she dials it up and that causes her to tighten up.

Overall she looks very athletic and fast so you're starting from a good place.

Ball facing the sky as much as possible you get brush and trigger.

Of course you upper arm is a ball and socket joint, the turning of the upper arm in the shoulder is IR and it has to turn fast and early to get great whip, then you should pronate the lower arm immediately following IR. A locked out arm would make this harder.

Thank you all for adding to her progression. I showed her this post and the comments, she had the biggest smile and said we need to make another video when she gets this down.. lol... half my phone storage is her pitching and hitting... I'm looking forward to see what the natural IR does v/s the semi forced IR with the movement on her pitches.

My kids (and no not my kids, lol) have the same problem.

I have found that the feeling in my arm action feels like a catapult. It’s a feeling of the elbow going from leading to trailing very quickly.

Have her put her hand at 11 o’clock with out a ball and just let her arm fall. It will IR and her hand will pronate. Keep smiling! Good energy maybe the most important factor in the journey

Whats kinda funny is I showed other kids the pendulum with my glove mallet to show how the arm naturally turns and whiffed on showing my own... (insert face palm)
