The back leg is in complete control.

Yep !! Since the back leg initiates the swing with this type of pattern.

The backside places the foot down. It’s not drop the heel after toe touch. It’s the backside placing the foot down from toe touch to heel plant. That is why the knee/leg is lifted into the mass. There are a ton of styles, this is one that is overlooked, the knee lifting/bending.

Do you think the back side being in control triggering toe touch and into heel plant as a style? There are styles in hitting.

Shawn, what muscles are you referring to with "back side" being in control ? And how do they control ?

The hips coiling against the back leg. The entire body is coiled against the back leg placing the backside in control. The spirals forming as you load the back hip from the head to the toes.

I don’t play the what muscle game.

I agree with you for this movement pattern.

This hitter shifts THEN swings.....Does not shift AND swing. Hits off the front posted leg.
The back leg is in complete control.
Yeah, of shifting the weight to to the front leg before swinging...
You guys crack me up.

I think I was clear he is hitting an inside pitch the opposite way. Not the best swing or simple a good adjustment.

Show me when he shifts? I don’t think he is shifting and then swinging.
