Unfortunately some people believe statistics indicate certainty. They do not... They indicate probability. Very few things in life are truly 100% probable. There are nearly always exceptions. You notice I included "nearly" because there are exceptions to that as well.

Yeah nearly, The wages of sin is death and the debt that all men must pay. There are even exceptions too that as well.

The runner just has to cross home plate.. HR fine, single fine, double fine, triple file, sac fly fine, weak grounder fine etc etc. Strike out, worse case scenario. Keep on hacking for the fence with 2 strikes when u only need that runner on third to cross home plate... dumb
Yeah, My brain was thinking down by one and a runner on third. WTH?

Don't show me videos of players doing drills, the proof is in their game swings. I want to see game swings where ARod, Trout, or any other player has the barrel of the bat above the wrists/hands at contact. This is what ARod is clearly demonstrating and it's laughable.

Those videos don't exist.

About 10 years ago, in late January, the AAU used to host a world class men's FP tournament at the Disney complex in Orlando where Bichette lives. Somehow someone coaxed him out to give it a try. I saw a game of his there, he was facing Mike Piecknik, a left handed HoF pitcher from British Columbia that threw absolute gas. In the 2 AB's I saw of Bichette, he never fouled a ball off. Afterwards, while standing around having a beer talking about it, he said "I've hit HR's off Randy Johnson, Roger Clemons, etc. but I've never seen anything like that!!!" I don't think he came back the next day.

That story has nothing to do with his hitting techniques or anything, I just thought it was a cool anecdote to share.

Absolutely in there game swings all of them are swinging "down to" from a leveraged position..

Quite different then chopping down with an all back all forward pattern.

Ok then make a video of yourself. That is what I did. I made a video of myself proving that I could swing down to and down through. I thought I was so clever. Then I watched the video. To swing down to and down through I had to have upright posture and no turn.

I then took the down to and forced myself to add the posture and turn and I was hitting not lofting bombs which I could always do, but piss rockets. It was a ah hah moment for me. It took guessing out of hitting.

I challenge you to video yourself swinging down, like the best of all time demo.

You can watch all the dagum video you want, it will not matter until you put a bat in your hands and try it.
