Several things that stick out. Sac bunt 2665 non sac situations 1187. Those numbers would be reversed if it was such a great idea

No mention of runs scored from a bunt

Also look at the situations where sacs were used. From 1st 1674 from 2nd 365 from 3rd 35! Thats very telling and holds true in baseball. 2b is harder for the defense to get the lead runner. Once in scoring position you give up the bunt, you cant sac again to get to 3b because that's 2 outs, so you rely on a base hit

Yes, but the point is using small ball you are able to statistically be successful at getting a runner into scoring position to set up the RBI base hit. I never said a team should only rely on bunting. I just still feel there is a place for it in fastpitch softball. To me a great fastpitch lineup consists of different types of hitters who play different roles to be a successful offense.

Yes but the argument (for MLB at least) is that you lower your average runs scored in all cases and only in certain circumstances do you increase your chances of scoring a single run.

What running speed would increase the effectiveness of being safe?

Your this fast _________
What is greater chance of being safe.
Example
2.6 extremly high probabilty safe.
3.0 under some chance to better chance of being safe.(this can be in 12u)
3.6 its an out.
Age and competitive level still apply.

At what running speed do you think is a legit basehit bunter?
That you believe to be atleast equal approach as swinging?

Every out that you have lowers your chances to score a run. If you look at your chart it tells the story.

In a sac situation the pitcher and defense is ready for it. Its a 78% out. In a hitting situation its even money. When miss buntsalot comes to bat again after reaching on a bunt that number will significantly decrease. Thats why it doesn't happen repeatedly.
