If a pitcher or catcher could only attend one day of a two day showcase skills camp, first day being pitching, catching, and batting clinics, and the second day is listed as an All Skills Clinic, would you recommend this player go to the specific skills clinic or the All Skills clinic?

I’d go with the specific skills clinic. Less numbers, more attention to what they are being recruited for.

My DD is a good catcher, but not great. No D1 schools will recruit her just for her skills behind the plate. However, she's a powerhouse batter. She's only going to be going to the batting sessions as soon as they open up. So, I say do what she's best at. The cost of these things are getting crazy, so gotta show what you're best at!

The clinic is doing batting and p/c day one. They are calling the second day All Skills Clinic. She was up there with her peers at her primary position when she went to a DI camp. She is a solid contact hitter. She has infield skills, but they don't compare to her primary position.

Based on what you said it would seem we should not bother with the All Skills and stick to the day with batting and her primary position.

Thanks.
