I heard it. I know what it said. They said PPT is responsible for the pelvis moving up aided by the hammies and glutes. Sounds like a core movement. The hips seem to be reactive in their scenario. Mine as well.
You said you have no clue as to why pelvic tilt is important. And its not important. The torso moving is the important part.
Going from 2 to 1 here does nothing to the bat.
Going from 1 to 2 here does quite a bit to the bat.
