We were 1 week away for being back on the field and playing in our first tournament in over 2 months.
DD sliced her big toe open at the beach this week. Three stitches later, Dr. said she is out for 2 weeks and will miss the first two tournaments.

Any recommendations for daily “bucket” drills to keep working on her swing without any pressure on her feet?

Probably better off just staying off it and letting it heal. Plus she might possibly pick up some bad habits without being able to use her foot properly. Now might be a good time to discuss situational game play and hitting approach?

I wouldn't do much first week after that see how it's healing. Guess depends where it is back foot or front as to what kind of drills I might do. Although if its on the pad it must be painful.
