DO NOT DO IT, I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!
You are so right- I have only sold/traded 3 guns and I regret every one!

Traded Benelli M2 camo with H&K markings for an original Super Black Eagle.

Traded a Tikka .22/250 with a Nikon 6.5-20 scope for my first AR middie. That Tikka was buttery smooth. Really shot nice for what was considered a a bargain rifle at the time.

Traded a Smith 4516 for an ACOG for my aforementioned middie.....

Wish I had all of them and the two ACOG’s and the Eotech that I traded over the years! NEVER trade equipment lol!

I alway love the Mossberg vs. Remington debate. Both are excellent time proven shotguns. I’ve always been in the Mossberg camp, particularly the Mossberg 590. I’ve always liked them a little more JUST because of the safety placement only. I like the safety on top of the receiver more than at the trigger guard. That’s it, personal preference.

The 870 is excellent, just ask the millions & millions of owners who have them!
That is EXACTLY why I prefer the 870! I looked at Cores’ Mossy and my eyes went right to the safety. My buddy had one of the original 3.5” Mossy pumps and he was pure fire in the duck blind with that thing. They were cutting edge with their overbore barrels.

My first real hunt gun was a 20 gauge Wingmaster with 28” barrel. I hate to think how many days it spent with me in the blind until I was big enough for a 30” 12 gauge Wingmaster.

Back then it was all long barrels, full chokes and lead shot.

@Westwind, did you mention HK?? This is one of my newer pistol purchases, and it’s a pretty rare USP. This is a 2005 Custom Combat UPS in .40 S&W. It used, saw it at a gun shop I don’t frequent too often, when I saw it I tried to put my hand through the top of the glass! Could NOT leave without it!

To back up, I’ve always despised colored polymer frame pistols, you would have had to give me a colored frame Glock, always thought they looked terrible! This pistol just jumped out at me! At the time I didn’t know how rare it was. There was 250 tan models and 250 OD green models, 500 total.

So green frame, Meprolight NS, custom cut grip tape, Jet Funnel magwell with 16 round plastic magazines, I’d never seen an HK with plastic mags before!

Do some research on the USP, they’re tanks!7FEDC888-E479-4F33-BF05-097B85618534.jpeg

Gotta go with the classic on this one! I vote for the Smith.

I dont like to be part of the norm with some stuff...I get that from my wife. Like to be a bit diff :)

WW. sounds kinda like yo have a soft spot for your guns...trading is just gonna bring bad feelings'after
its gone. Like me with bats, nothing gets sold out of my collection...why...because! ;)

Those are very cool!

I’m an 870 man myself- I keep finding myself looking at 870 Marine Magnums with 18” barrels. I gotta have a stock of some kind too. Thinking I might trade one of my mid-length RRA carbines.

Thanks bud, I def was just looking for something small and legal...and stops a buffalo...haha. I
didnt want a full size shotgun. I know many people love shotguns for home defense and I really
like the short size. Next purchases will be more deciding and playing around. I really like revolvers
for some reason.

I’ve recently moved four super nice gloves to forum members here........and I’m stupid! Already miss every single one of them!

See, just like bats...some just hate moving certain things they acquire. No matter how good the trade,
you always feel like you shouldnt have done it :)

That is a really nice pistol. Love the colors, and it is cool that it is 1/250.

I was going to switch to a USP for my current job- I have never been all that fond of Glocks but after shooting them all these years I was afraid to change grip angle. I’ve found that the older I get, the harder change is!

I did make one change... switched from .40 to 9mm. It’s been years since I carried one, forgot how tiny the ammo is.

I actually got talked into it by the gunstore guy. His thoughts were that the 9mm ammo has improved and is much cheaper. That also opens the door and creates the “necessity” of a second baby Glock, lol!

I like it! Would make a fantastic vehicle gun. And will definitely stop a buffalo or a griz!

I would like to have a medium sized revolver. I live out in the country (no neighbors) and occasionally see snakes I can’t get to with my mower. I think it would be a riot to shoot snakes off my zero turn mower with shot shells out of a pistol. That’s perfectly safe, right?
