The knob to knee drill looks close to what you looking for, if you mean the rear leg being 1 legged. W=W mentioned turning the barrel rearward , that should help your timing and direction to get some stretch behind the corner. Good luck

Worked a little bit on it off the tee today. She seemed to be getting it (I forgot to record that somehow). So we went to front toss. I did record that. Not sure how to describe it...two legged swing or front side? I’m sure it’s just her comfort swing right now. Just have to keep repping it.

Swings look a little rushed. Maybe you are a little too close to her. But she's got the power. Needs to get into her legs a little more but that might be caused by her being rushed. I like that you give her a little time in between pitches. Maybe a little more time would even be better. You want her taking game swings on every toss, not just going thru the motions. Quality over quantity. Have her rate her own swings (1 to 10). The swing she hits back into the screen was a bad swing. Ask her why it was. Likewise when she hit a bomb and rates herself a 9 or 10, ask why it was a 9 or 10. Awareness and feedback are great teachers.
Also, what do you guys think of the VeloPro? Are they legit?

.02 cents. She drops the hands/back shoulder and opens up to swing. That why so many balls are sliced to RF.

learn how to create a negative/gather move while staying in the Sagittal plane. Close off the stance a bit while training until she learns how to not fly open. This will stop the early hip/shoulder fly. Encourage a more down and across hand path with a closed stance. The path should clean up to ‘up and through the middle’ of the field. She will pull the ball better with authority. Pretty easy fixes. She creates good energy through the ball, just gotta have a direction on how to funnel it properly.

Appreciate your feedback! I definitely see what you’re seeing. Seems like she’s rushing to hit it out front (for years her coaches emphasized that she hits it out front)

Thanks for the input! We’ve tried the closed stance and she gets frustrated because it seems weird to her. I guess if I convince her for the drill it’ll be ok. 😂

Any suggestions on ways to fix the dropping of the hands/shoulder?

See how Mike creates his load? He gathers into the ground. His hands cock a bit; his posture changes a bit over the plate. He’s creating counter rotation. The lower against the upper.this moves him forward. This will stop the dropping shoulder/hands. The knob to knew drill is close to what I’m saying. Employ the ‘feet together step and hit’ drill along with these new movements.
