Thats because he doesn't think or care about it (barrel gets turned on every pitch) since the hands are pulled by the core down to the ball.

Come on @TDS read. I was replying to this statement that W=w stated concerning Griffey turning the barrel: "Griffey gets his foot down with the barrel ‘turned’ but no acceleration yet. "

Griffey did not even start turning the barrel let alone accelerating it at foot down. In reality Griffey was maintaining resistance against his lower half, because he was off time, because of the pitch.

Different movements.. One is ttb by supinating the rear forearm, while the other is swinging down to...

Neither one is performing an entire swing. Both are isolating a specific thought.
