I'm under the personal theory that part of why Ghost Advanceds were breaking was because they were released in the Winter and over-eager girls (and dads, more likely) were using them in sub 40 weather.

Y'all see any bats break last weekend in tournaments?

We start play in May, but it doesn't really warm up until June. We use old bats for the month of May. No way any DD of mine is wasting a top level(cost) bat at +10 C degree weather.

My daughter has broken two of the dual stamp Ghosts in the the past 2 months. One broke in the meat of the barrel, the other developed a rattle inside. Both bats at indoor tournaments, so temp was fine

My DD has also broken two of the dual stamp Ghosts. Neither lasted a month. These also were only used indoors. I picked up a 2019 Xeno for her to use while the Ghost gets replaced. If she breaks that we are sticking to Volleyball.

Haaaa! I asked if I could pay the difference and try the Advanced but they would not allow me to do so. We love the dual stamp but unfortunately just hasn't been reliable for us. She does still have the Blue ASA Ghost as well, but if that breaks, they will replace it with the dual stamp. I think we have broken 5 Ghosts in the past couple of years but its the only bat she cares to swing. I have spent about the price of a new bat in shipping costs sending these bats in, and turn around time is usually three weeks each time, but until she finds something she likes more, we will continue the process.
