Noises? I bought the damn thing because it's loud!

Many times these inner discs bats can rattle when you shake them...nothing wrong with the bat, just
umps are taught to toss anything. But they aren't taught what is normal and isn't. So they do what they are
told.
But again, just playing the guessing game here to keep me occupied this morning. I could be wrong on why he
tossed them.

For what? Cracks?

The LXT is the most prevalent bat in DDs club, and no one I'm aware of has had a problem yet. Then again, they're 10u and 12u, so it's not like they're a crew of bat busters. Looking at the this board, there seems to be threads on every other high end bat breaking frequently, but rarely anything LXTs or Xenos.

Haha! I interpreted that completely differently. I thought he meant he threw more LXT's back towards the dugout than any other bat (meaning he just saw more LTX's than any other as an ump). But now I see tossed could very well mean threw out.

Anyway, I bought my daughter a 2019 LTX about a month ago for under $200 on cheapbats.com. Not sure if they are still discounted. Depending on size, I the 2019's are all around $200-250.

MIB is an ump, so I always assume the negative when he posts something if there is an option to pick from...hahaha :)

Simple answer: Better aerodynamics. :p

Not the most common bat, but common.

I won't dispute what Core said about what we are "taught" to look for ... he knows about my exploits trying to get a bat manufacturer -- ANY bat manufacturer -- to answer questions. I can only do what I have been trained to do, and when NOBODY (softball organizations nor bat manufacturers) wants to provide a standard training protocol ... o_O

With what I had been taught, I was routinely tossing them because you could feel the barrel moving separate from the handle ("wobble") when you swung it back and forth. No, I'm not talking about routine flexing. Place an empty bottle on a pencil and wiggle it back and forth. That's the feel (not that extreme obviously, but that's my best description). Independent movement.

PS -- Yes, I am mean and cantankerous. Plus I like seeing little girls' parents cry. Not the little girls ... their parents. :devilish:

Always liked your avatar Ww, if my sundial memory serves me right, you took that pic around 9:00 am.
Lol! Nope, inside my shed with portable shop lighting at the time!

To this day when I glance indirectly at it, it looks like a blooming flower. I have thought about changing it several times and decided to keep it around.

Several legit places selling the white and gold 2019 right now for 200 to 250, but looks like sizes starting to be more limited. Dicks has the 31 and 32 drop 10 for $220 and can probably use some coupons to get it lower.

Definitely open to the 2019, but need a 33/23 and the ones I've seen have been smaller then that.
