DD is moving to 1st base on her new summer team (17u). I’m not trying to break the bank on a glove but I want her to have a quality glove as well. Any recommendations? Something that’s easy to break in as well (season starts in April)

Hey my DD also started playing 1B more regularly and I picked her up a 13" Nokona Walnut Series and she loves it. Very easy to work in. Still using her 12" X2 when she pitches and plays 2B. She's a big fan of Nokona gloves.

DD has a rawlings liberty advance she really likes it and it didn't take forever to break in. Good glove for the price

Appreciate you! Got it off their website?
The pitching mitt yes. The 1B glove from Diamond Sports in Fenton MI. They will ship as well and good people. Very knowledgeable.

Also check out the Roy Hobbs gloves. Picked her up a backup fielding glove. I think they are great gloves and underrated. Also ordered from the website.

All three places were good to deal with. Best of luck with your decision. Love to hear how it plays out. My daughter also 17 btw

thanks again! It should be interesting/fun to see how she does with 1st base (played OF her entire career).

I would grab this mizuno pro glove for $200 with code mizuno20, which bring it down from $250 to $200 shipped. The mizuno pro leather is comparable to the Rawlings pro preferred. Nokona gloves are made in the usa but they are expensive and they weight a lot. Is your dd usemher glove rht or lht? I would jump on that mizuno pro 1st base glove, since it retails at $350.

Check over sbf for this new Rawlings dct 1st base glove for $230

Option 3 Easton small batch 1st base glove, it is a tank but it weighs in the 29 oz.

option 4 hoh custom for $265

What is your budget op?

This, the DCT pattern are what all 1B mitts are judged by!

If not this, that Mizuno Pro that no_glove linked, great price!

Custom made in the States maybe but not from a factory line in the Philippines. Though my research is limited it just seems logical
