She’s 10, just starting our 2nd season of 10u so still using an 11” ball. Didn’t want anything too expensive knowing that an 11 1/2 probably won’t work next year. I was considering an 11 3/4 Bradley since their big selling point is being tailored to youth, smaller hands.
Got ya, then that All-Star, especially for the money just may be the ticket? Never seen or held a Bradley before, I know there's some dads here who like them.

You should be warned- Pattar and AD like to talk other people into spending money on gloves.

(It's me. I'm "other people".)

I've got quite a bit of experience with Bradley gloves and Jeff is a great guy who is probably TOO customer service oriented (I've seen him give a full refund on one of his horween gloves that someone had steamed , just because his return policy says "no questions asked"). If you go that direction and think she's going to play through 12u, I'd push you towards the Bandito Pro series and those are $200 plus shipping, so the premium you're paying for the smaller hand/finger stalls really needs to be something that is especially useful to you and not something she's going to grow out of in a year. Olivia is extremely small, and her brother was younger when he started playing, so all the money I've sent his way was a good investment for us, but the value diminishes for kids who are bigger OR who may not be playing as many games every year as some kids are.

The only other thing to consider with Bradley is that the glove is going to be smaller and lighter than an adult glove in the same size. If you go that direction, I'd consider a 12" glove. In anything else, I'd take Pattar's advice and get a fairly nice 11.75" glove.

My daughter plays middle infield as well. I did some research and the best glove worth the money I hope is the a2000. It is 12" has a very deep pocket she plays shortstop. Its a very stiff glove and will take some breaking in. She will be a freshman this summer so hoping the money spent for the glove and durability which they are known for it should last thru highschool.

Does your DD pitch also, I ask because of the web........started to say two-piece web, but that's a one-piece web! I assume that's a custom, or a team glove with the "B" (Batesville?) where the Wilson "W" logo would be.

Being a 12", if it's a custom, what's the base model? In 12" a DW5 always comes to mind. Or.......is that a baseball or softball glove? I see there's no velcro. With that big solid slab of leather for a web, one & two-piece webs are definitely stiffer and take a little more to break in!

Great looking glove!

The original one-piece made famous by Omar Vizquel.

My wife has already threatened to divorce me for buying so many bats, I don’t need much convincing! She finally gave up and just shakes her head in disgust when a long, skinny box dhows up😁 Dd is very small (53”, 58lbs) and thats why I was looking at Bradley gloves.

My SS also loves her a2000 H web though its 11.75...took a lot to break in...she's had it since 10s and it was too much glove for most of 10s but at about 11 she got strong enough for it and now it's her baby and is on year 4. We use voo doo conditioner on it a couple of times a year when she says it starts to feel stiff.

Hey I don't ever remember doing that to you explicitly. I mean I did let you hold Marcela's new glove for a few minutes but I considered
that a methadone of sorts. How was I supposed to know that would cause a relapse?[/QUOTE]
