I really like what I'm seeing...this is one of those weird things though that I just can't put my finger on, I though it was just my imagination on the tee swings but I saw it in her BP swing to it just looks like there is a little hitch in her swing...maybe just as she gets on plane? somebody just tell me I'm imagining it and I'll let it go....looking at it some more maybe it it between toe touch and heel plant, there is a natural change of direction there usually maybe it's just more pronounced? but again lots to like here.

Thanks, I'll look for it.

Pattar pointed out the snap with the hands and elbows was off a little. She also has a little stretch between snap of the barrel and the leg snap. Maybe your picking up on that.

Sometimes I see a really clean and explosive barrel whip from her but it's off and on.

appreciate the kind comments.

If the goal Is to hit OPPO , then she’s out of position here. We will have to move closer to the plate.

Any thoughts or help hitting oppo

There are some slight posture adjustments during pitch read

along with some direction adjustments during/slightly after launch (compare bottom 2 frames)

With the tee you know where the pitch is already in general so it might not be the best tool to gauge
readiness to hit the outside pitch since the "pitch read" portion is removed.

That said, if you want to work on post/during-launch adjustments the SNF drill whereby the
"feeder" calls out pitch location might be useful

Get this, I have a video of Carew swinging and hitting different locations. It's called Perfect Form and is meant to be watched over and over by the viewer to see an expert in action (swings repeat many, many times and at different speeds). Anyways when it comes to hitting the outside pitch part of instruction is to open the hips while keeping the hands back. Carew shows this happening in his swing, really aggressive with the hips/lowerbody.

So that slight timing adjustment on an outside pitch could be the hips opening while the hands remain back.
