I would start with working on the feeling of using the hands/forearms to turn the barrel to contact. I posted a video in my comment on page 1 of the thread. Hands turn the barrel. Rear shoulder delivers the hands. Work "out-from" the rear shoulder, not around the body. It's going to be a very different feel for her, and will take a while to reprogram her pattern.

EDIT: Having her start with the barrel resting on her shoulder, and learning how to turn the barrel off the shoulder will help reprogram the DBSF move. If the barrel stays on the shoulder until it's launched, the hands can't lay it flat behind her the way she is now. Learning how to use an angled swing plane is a big part of making this work, too.

This is great.^^^^^ May I suggest long tee where she can see the trajectory of the ball. Instant feedback. She should be able to hit the ball off the tee in the air to the outfield grass. Or even better yet, put the tee behind second base and have her hit HRs. Quickest way to learn IMO.

Seeing ball flight is very helpful and rewarding work sometimes, but it can lead to false positives when you are trying to reprogram movement patterns. Just because they hit the ball far doesn't mean their body was moving the way we want it to. At the beginning, I might recommend removing the ball completely, and just hit the top of the tee. Eliminate flight pattern as a feedback data point until the body gets familiar with the new movements.

Dbsf is a one legged issue. Not this young ladies issue. She has a pulling core. No need to keep the barrel vertical. She isn’t leveraging her back leg.. Get the shift of mass consistently on time.

Ted had DBSF? No he did not. He had a pulling core. There really is no such thing as Dbsf. Well to one leggers Dbsf is a real problem.

When one can leverage the middle. The barrel or back leg isn’t needed for leverage.

DBSF is a leveling issue related to improper arm use. It doesn't matter if you're pulling, pushing, using 1 leg or 2, you can still DBSF. This young hitter's DBSF issues aren't as dramatic as some we've seen, but there's still a flawed concept of getting the barrel level to the ground.

We gotta look at some details at some point right? Is Mannys elbow working independently of his top hand? Is the young lady’s? Is Manny core already torqued and segmented and working in front of the arms? Is the young lady’s core working WITH the arms and barrel turn?

Some big details that can make a sequence much much different. But hey if we’re going to ignore the details... then those are great examples.

Not sure what exactly you mean by one legged...do you mean improperly loading/coiling back hip/leg? just not a term I'm familiar with what exactly is it you are trying to describe.

I was discussing how her swing simply isn't optimal from a bat angle standpoint.

In looking harder at her back/rear leg it looks like she has way to much weight bearing on it and is a little too bug squishy
