Nice to see the sarcastic. smartass Pattar hasn't left the board. If only we could virtually throw a water bottle at you!

(Bobby, don't take offense, no one believes anything here until you prove it with video. :D)

He posted her swing. From the 1925 Babe Ruth hitting BP style video it looked pretty good. I just don't like people talking up their kids anywhere on here other than the Shameless Brag Forum...pet peeve of mine. It probably annoys me because I am incapable of saying anything nice about my DD and I am jealous of their ability to do so...or it could be that my DD's swing is not good..see I just did it again.

Oh, and smartass, sarcastic @pattar is as intertwined with my personality as my bald spot is to my head. My friends, when I had some, used to call me George sometimes because I reminded them of George Carlin

Just so you know, I'm virtually throwing a water bottle at you now. But to be nice, it's only half full. :D (Don't call the cops bro!)

Certainly not 1.000, in bp the pitcher isn't trying to get you out. Biggest problem was the strikeout and then the pop up due to the coach throwing too much front toss. She was the BP queen but game pitch distance took some time to figure out how to barrel up. It took some analysis to recognize that she was looking for pitched ball flight that fell the 42" from initial trajectory in 30 feet for BP front toss to 42" from initial in 43 feet. She kept lifting her hands even though the bat was on the plane of the pitch. When she lifted her hands during the swing, the reaction was that the bat would dip momentarily, right when the ball passed by, and then get back on plane. I happened to be looking at a BP swing video and saw that at 30 feet her hands were at the level of the ball and then the ball would fall into the bat that was rotating beneath her hands. The cure? No more close up front toss. All BP pitched from the rubber. The UL drill on deck. Make practice more closely resemble the game.
Physics always wins.
BTW, that video at the college camp was 6 pitches with 4 going yard.
She launches the first 3 and then completely wiffs the 4th and watches 5th go by. I asked her what happened and she says......"college coaches watching her go yard 3 times in a row got her a little jacked up and she doesn't even think she saw the 4th pitch."
She decided to take the 5th to be sure she could focus at all. Then jacks the 6th 240 feet over cf wall.
It was a great day to be her Dad. and shameless.
Unfortunately, at that time, Howard Dobson, the LSU hitting coach didn't believe in hr as an effective way to win in the SEC and didn't give her a second look.
So no, not 1.000.

For this comment, I have to call on ole John McEnroe.

You can not be serious!

The LSU camp was in winter 2018. At the camp, Dobson went on about how everyone was wrong when they said hitting was in the hips. He said," It's all in the hands!" "Hands to the ball, get top the ball, swing down."
It was believable especially when you looked at the batting stats from 2017. They could get on base, but couldn't get runs across. Same in 2018. They had 2 All American pitchers but struggled to score runs.
This past year, ESPN announcers remarked often during broadcasts that Dobson recognized the situation and after the 2018 season, completely revamped his hitting approach. As a result, LSU scored more runs and hit more dingers, with plenty references to launch angle and ball exit velocity.
Go figure.
