Does Hofstra have a chance of returning to its former status?

Hofstra went through a rough time last year with seven starting seniors graduating, Anderson taking a position in the SEC, and losing its two dominating pitchers to transfer. They had a losing season for the first time in recent memory. Has any school overcome a situation where it went from regularly attending the regionals to not even making their conference championship tournament, then bouncing back and becoming a strong mid-major again?

One of our coaches graduated from Hofstra in 2018. They beat Florida St and Notre Dame that season and finished in top #25 in one poll and low 30’s in another.
From what she told me they lost HC & Asst to Missouri after 18 season. Also transfers like you mentioned.
Hofstra is usually a solid program with the usual ups & downs.
