That is soooooo good. How do they play such complex songs so clean? How does a trio sound so BIG?

I can never hear Spirit too many times. It is always on the radio and it never gets old. I just marvel at the drums in that song. Is Neil the greatest drummer of all time?
Probably my two favorite Rush songs are Red Barchetta, played loudly while driving will get you a ticket, it’s a song that just builds and builds!

The other is the Manhattan Project, only Neal would write a song about scientists trying to be the first to build an Atomic bomb, fantastic song that most people have never heard of! And in the lyrics, a cool mention of the Enola Gay!

Doesn’t Red Barchetta seem like it is closer to coming true each day?

Mentioned Enola Gay- I love ww2 American bomber “tail art”.

I absolutely love that song! I have it in my beast mode playlist. I've heard this cover a few different times as well and think it's so good. I've had teammates and friends listen to this and some thought it was cool and others ask me what in the world am I listening to.
You tell them you’re listening to Zeppelin, the greatest musical group in history! Well, behind today’s rap music!:rolleyes::rolleyes:, wait there’s a few more!🤮🤮🤮 You probably get my point!

Spectacular song! I think the mainstream Led song I can never get over is The Immigrant Song. For some reason I really like In The Evening too.

Led Zepplin made some real bangers.

What do you mean about Red Barchetta? It’s about a young man who finds his uncles old classic sports car in a barn and brings it back to life, then races it. Always been a favorite of mine!

The lines “before the Motor Law” and the “air cars” that pursue him are vague enough that I fill in the blanks in my mind- will we have a “motor law” one day? A glimpse of the future?

Or maybe I heard the lyrics wrong all these years lol

Dave Matthews live cover version of All along the watchtower is one of my favorites, saw him perform it 3 or 4 times. Always gets the crowd in a crazy frenzy!
