Tournament today was rained out, so I found myself at the Mizuno store. I couldn't believe my luck. This new looking 2019 Mizuno Titanium was in the Demo Sale Bucket for $160. I could not pass it up. Cannot wait for DD to do some side by side comparisons. Will report back.

Dont set expextations too high...hahaha. Not many fans of it last year. Just go in thinking
you picked up a decent bat and one you can beat up for cheap with a unique sound :)
If she is one of the few that really love it, huge bonus.

Yeah, after hitting some 2020 demo bats a couple of weeks ago, DD really wanted the Titanium. I was leaning towards the PC. Her pitching coach is wanting to move her to a drop 9 bat, so I also picked up a 2019 PC in a drop 9 for just under $100. Two bats for less than cost of 1! So, as soon as the weather improves, we will be having a little hitting competition. Drop 10 Xeno, vs Drop 9 PC, vs Drop 10 Titanium.

Her current bag has 2 bat sleeves, so I'm curious which two will make the cut.

Stay tuned.

I also picked up a 32" drop 10 PC for younger DD. Should have seen my DW's face when I came back from "errands" with 3 new bats! I let her think I paid full retail for a solid 5 minutes. LOL

Younger DD will finally retire her #2 bat, a 31" -11 CF8. So, her bag will be sporting a 32" -10 Xeno, and the new PC. Another competition to see which becomes her goto bat. She's made some comments about the Xeno being "heavy", and actually started playing around with a 32" -11 CF9 her older sister used very briefly. I'm hoping the PC, which is an around an ounce lighter than the Xeno according to the bat weight post, will give her a lighter feel. She's been hitting the Xeno for about 4 months.

Update. After some BP yesterday with the new bats, the Power Carbon seems to have emerged on top. Although, I am not sure it has displaced the Xeno just yet. The titanium did not make it through an entire bucket in the cage, before she wanted to change bats. Two or three swings with the PC, and she said, "That's more like it!". From my perspective behind the net in the cage throwing short toss. The ball does seem to come off the PC faster than the Xeno and the Titanium. I had read that from other posts, but didn't really expect to notice it myself. But I did.

We moved to the field after 4 or so buckets, and she started with the Titanium again. Again, half a bucket in and she switched to the PC. Her third swing with the PC went over the fence! In 1 and a half buckets with the PC, she hit 4 over the fence. Probably would have been more, if I could threw better short toss on the field. I do better in the cage with something to aim at.

I think the feedback the Titanium gives must be a very different feel from the composite bats. She also commented on the sound. She said, "oh, that does sound weird". LOL

Younger DD was less definitive, as she hit both her Xeno and the new PC about the same.

I will try to get exit velocities with pocket radar at the next hitting lesson.

I can only laugh when people talk about the Ti :)

Its like one of those things you know is coming, just waiting for it to be said...haha

In all honesty, people have to realize, the Ti is not all composite. Its very different, not going to feel like
a composite and feedback will not either. When you miss the ss, you are gonna feel it.

I tried to explain that to her, that it would be different from what she was used to. But she was locked in on the titanium. If I had paid the $450 retail, I would be "grumpy", but I figure $260 (cost of the Ti and the PC) for a new bat is probably the cheapest bat I will buy for a long time. And I bet I can get my money back if we decide to sell the Ti.
