Drop 9 probably would not work well for my 10 yo dd

You might be surprised. Problem is that you can’t get the right length in -9.

Lots of kids in my area were swinging 30” and 31” Rocketech’s by that age....

Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but I'm not finding it.

I see the 2019 Ghost being sold for $199 several places. This makes it affordable for me. Any reason not to get it for my DD's birthday next month?

Make sure it's the right one for the alphabets your DD plays in.

Blue = ASA/USA, NFHS, PGF
Yellow = USSSA

cannot wait for Easton to ship DDs. right in time for rec AS! will be too late for USSSA states though (unless EAston hears my pleas and ships it today!)

The 2019 Ghost was USSSA and the 2018 was ASA...the 2020 will have all stamps. But its up to you. I mean, if you play
mostly one over the other, sure...scoop it up. If you are looking for a 33/23 or 34/24 usssa Ghost, that's the only two
usssa's I have left and will hit you a deal as well.

Thanks Core. I appreciate all your help here (to me and others) and will certainly buy from you if the prices are in the ballpark of other places I can get it.

My daughter is turning 10. Strong girl swinging a 31/20 LXT right now. I'll talk to her hitting coach, but he said months ago she could handle a heavier bat. So thinking 31/21. We play in tournaments that allow the Gold Ghost Bat and quite honestly don't check bats at all. I've seen girls using all the Ghost variations, and we asked the umps a few times early in the season and they were fine with both.

Thank you. That would imply BLUE for my DD, but we have a girl on the team who uses GOLD and we even asked the umps and they were fine. Probably should ask a tournament director.

Thing is, we play 10U B ball in random counties across Georgia. I just don't think anyone's policing it much.

Is either of the bats "better" than the other?

Daughter has both as we did a mixture of exposures and a couple were USSSA rules. The gold ghost was not as hot out of the wrapper but after about 120 swings on it the gold and blue ghost are essentially the same bat.

That's some bad umpiring Drew, but doesn't surprise me. I know Guru thoughts, but most will say the Blue is better.
Im not getting into a discussion about it as to each their own and its been talked about before.

I do have some ASA Ghosts left in those smaller sizes if you need one...No usssa's in those sizes left as we def kept to a bare
minimum. Key is to decide which you need, because IF and WHEN umps do start checking near you, you don't wanna
have the wrong bat.
