So Cal
I'm not a fan of the move to pull the barrel down behind the rear shoulder. It also looks like her front elbow stays down against/near her torso. It's a very "swing flat" mentality (IMO)

My thought would be to introduce the move of turning the triangle around a HPP. Feel the elbows working together and the barrel working rearward.

This lady is the 1st ever to play on both the Canadian Softball and Baseball national team. She's a phenomenal ball player playing at the highest level. I thought the bat to the side of shoulder looked a little odd to me, amazing how some find a way to get it done. Looks like a very simple swing to me

That's awesome. It's still not a swing I would use as an example for others to follow.

I originally was going to 'bash' this hitter(drop bat level and swing) but, the more I look at this swing I can see how it might work. Not my style but, as long as hitter starts early it works. I see it no different than if a hitter just started with the bat on their shoulder(Brett comes to mind). The test will be against faster pitching, as with any hitter.

This is toe touch

1) the rear forearm is mostly vertical (bad). Should be horizontal. She is forced to drag the bat around (bat drag) with the arms, and no body.

2) Her rear leg is still bent. She should be striding with the back leg, not the front.

With her bat drag, should would be limited to pulling the ball. Plus it looks like she's hitting flat/level balls that can't reach the back of the cage. I would pitch her down and in, and down and away, until she hit a hard ball.

The title was 'swing thoughts'. But now I see what you mean, I edited my comment. Thanks Eric. I'm a rookie here, be gentle with me. :)

Looks like somebody took the Epstein deltoid drill and molded it into a game swing.
