DD's glove is too loose around her wrist. It's a nokona, I took it to a leathersmith and he poked new holes and moved the strap as far over as he can. It improved the fit, but it will still fall off her hand too easily. Any thoughts or ideas? I was wondering if there is some sort of strap you could wrap around wrist strap? Kind of like putting string in a ring that is too big.

Something I have to ask. Is your DD using the thumb loop in the glove? I know when I go through the gloves of a team I will find 3-5 of them the thumb loop is pulled out of the glove, they have it pushed to the side or it's not adjusted correctly. Even with the older girls. One of the girls on my DD's college team had no idea what it was for.

Just a personal experience that might possibly be helpful. My DD likes her love to be rather tight around her wrist and hand and will not wear a batting glove underneath. She has a nokona alpha select and loves the glove. When she first got it she didn't like how loose it felt no matter how tight she pulled the strap. So I reached out to nokona and explained the situation. They in turn had me send it to them under a repair claim. When the glove returned it was amazing, they completely re-did the finger stalls and tightened everything up, all free of charge. It came back perfect and shes loved it ever since. Not sure if you have that option at the moment, but I was completely blown away with their customer service and at the lengths they went to make us happy. I will be a nokona fan for life just from that experience alone. So, if you have the time maybe give them a call. They are a top notch company.

Wrist straps should be loose when the glove is open and tightened slightly when the glove is closed. Only tighten it adjust the strap with the glove on the hand and the glove closed around a ball
