Yep- a heavier feel is not always a bad thing at all. I wish people didn’t get hung up on how “light” a bat feels or the actual weights. A bat can be heavier but bat speed can go up. I don’t know if where the balance point is affects m.o.i. but I do know that most of my hitters have higher exits with bats that tip further out the barrel. The just bats article refers to some bats as being “more difficult to swing” because they have a higher m.o.i. There is a right bat for everyone and if all you ever swing is -11 with low m.o.i. a hitter might miss out on a bat that really works for them against the pitching they see most.

That Ti is good too. I was really surprised that no one here took to that bat.

I also really wish that we could have been outside hitting on a field.

The Ti is too expensive to get a fast start in the a market, especially a bat from Mizuno. It might take time to develop a reputation and following. I'm a sucker for buying new bats...where I'm willing to drop $300 or so on occasion for a new bat for DD (that means I get to take them to the batting cage too!). I'll risk taking a small hit when re-selling bats she doesn't like. However, I'm personally not willing to drop the $450 yet on a bat that has no reputation no matter how intriguing it is.

Same thing I said, way to expensive for a new bat...let LS rip people off with a 450 dollar turd...hahaha :)

That's why I don't have many, I got a huge deal on 5 of them for a great price and a few have been sold, but I told Mizuno
that with their prior business decisions, wont ever sell a bat for 450 bucks. They have to get back in the market and get more
bats out there before people are willing to do that.

the justbatreviews vids are kind of weird but i'm glad someone is taking a swing at MOI testing (pun intended).. ive been preaching it for years.. its simple physics.. the further the weight from the center of rotation the harder it is to move all things being equal.. i've always thought the easiest solution for most folks would be to just have a standardized list of balance points from the butt.. looking like i need to find a place to demo a power carbon.. local place doesn't stock them..

Agree with ya, too many people simplify and think lighter=faster and more pop . Not true.

But I wont go into that here, leave that for the hitting section and all the experts there.

Lighter is definitely not necessarily more pop. Force=Mass x acceleration. It's finding the sweet spot for each kid. Low twitch kids that swing heavier or more loaded bats will generally have more luck. Higher twitch kids that can generate velocity can trade out some Mass...

Just a clarification...I am not a rep, I own a store and a real auth dealer. I have skin in the game, care about the business and sport and have a reputation to uphold
and I stand by what I sell, and I work to know the products and hit them so I can help customers more.

"rep" used to mean something years ago...but the tool, trunk monkey, freelance salesmen and illegal rafflers all over the web have ruined the word. But I will digress.

Sorry, I have an issue with these people...haha...guess you could tell :)
