ok, so the wall is fixed as far as height goes? looks like tee is placed in the middle and you're saying app 12" away. also looks like we're not concerned where the pitch is but only with swing mechanics? sorry for all the questions but every third person in my area is a hitting instructor and they're not going to get this. fwiw, I tell my girls I don't care if they're in the box upside down with one hand behind their back as long as they're consistently getting on base. :)

No problem. My wall looks just like the one Westwind posted. I made two extra pieces that are only 8", and if I feel the wall is too tall for a kid I use the 8" pieces instead of the 12" to adjust the height.

You are correct. The tee is placed in the middle of the wall, 12" away.

I don't adjust the tee location or height when working with the wall. It is definitely designed for a low pitch. If the height of the tee is too high the wall is worthless because the bat path wouldn't cross paths with the wall no matter what the swing is like.

The main purpose of the wall is to improve the bat path/direction of the swing.

well, would it be better if it was more adjustable? I thinking of something like these with a cross member on top - https://www.sportsmansguide.com/pro...MIubiEm7_F3wIVFovICh1vrAkIEAQYBCABEgIMUvD_BwE . I use better ones for my boat cover but you get the idea.

I started out building the most simple version. I told myself to resist the urge to “improve” something that did not need “improvements”.

“Don’t do the built in tee. Just use your Tanner Tee” he said to himself.

I’ll be honest, I have no idea how to use that! I’m in for trying it though. I didn’t get what I was looking for when I googled.

I’m becoming the PVC king, I bought the Contractor Pack of 3/4” tees at Menards yesterday.
